Professional Development

About Professional Development

The Professional Development Committee is responsible for providing events and workshops that help students form professional skills and to feel career ready by the time they graduate. They engage and liaise with students and faculty around career and professional development opportunities such as organizing job talks or career-related panels. Our biggest event is the annual Employer Showcase which is held every January. See below for a full list of our past and upcoming events.

The Professional Development Committee also manages the statuses of clubs and associations and acts as liaisons at MISC meetings. If you are interested in becoming a MISC recognized club, please see Student Clubs & Groups or email us at misc.ischool@utoronto.ca to learn more.
