- iStudents for Mental Health: UC Strategy Meeting: Activism & Mental Health (+ Parfait Bar)
Reducing wait-times at Health and Wellness, eradicating the mandated leave policy, tackling stigma on mental illness at UofT…
These are all issues that require discussion, debate and planning if we intend to address and challenge them effectively.
Join the Mental Wellness Commission 2018-19 – UC Lit in their first strategizing meeting of the year. Come to share ideas on how we can approach these concerns, such as contacting the media, publishing opinion pieces and more.
Or just come to vent! A parfait bar will also be provided for you to fuel your body and mind!
On October 25h, the commissioner, Kiana, will also accompany community member and activist, Kristen, who proposed a meeting with the Vice Provost Students, Sandy Welsh. They may share results from their joint-meeting at this event. So feel free to attend to if you are interested to hear what took place at the meeting.
