The University of Toronto has a wide variety of clubs, groups, associations, etc. for Master of Information (MI) students to get involved in while students attend the university! Getting involved at the university can be a great part of a student experience and help students meet and form connections with their peers.
Below are some clubs, groups, associations, and more that were chosen to be featured because they could be of interest to the MI student body, however, there are many, many more at the university as well!
CLUBS
UDESIGN
UDesign is a student-run creative design club at the University of Toronto focused on cultivating emerging design talent through real-world projects and mentorship.
GROUPS
ACCESSIBILITY INTERESTS WORKIG GROUP (AIWG)
The Accessibility Interests Working Group (AIWG) works with students, faculty, and staff to increase Universal Design for Learning practices, amplify community voices, and bring awareness to accessibility practices and design.

MASTER OF MUSEUM STUDIES STUDENT ASSOCIATION (MUSSA)
MUSSA represents and serves Master of Museum Studies (MMSt) and Combined Degree Program (CDP) students at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Information.
MUSEUM PROFESSIONALS OF COLOUR (MPOC)
Museum Professionals of Colour (MPOC) is a University of Toronto-based student association aimed at providing students a network and platform to address the racial diversity in the museum industry.

HART HOUSE STUDENT LITERARY & LIBRARY COMMITTEE
The Hart House Student Literary and Library Committee provides opportunities for students at U of T and community members in the GTA to explore the literary arts. The Committee encompasses numerous and distinct areas of the literary world and also publishes the Hart House Review, an annual literary and art journal which launches every year in April.
iJOURNAL
The iJournal is a peer-reviewed, open-access, multi-disciplinary academic journal, publishing original student research spanning fields including library and information science, museum studies, human-centered data science, user experience design, archival studies, and technology studies.
