  1. MISC – Halloween

Halloween is, unofficially, one of MISC’s favourite holidays. We have put together programming on Friday, October 26, for students in the Faculty:

Trick or Treating

Wish you could still go trick-or-treating? Feeling nostalgic? MISC feels the same!

Between 4:00 and 6:00 PM, trick-or-treat with fellow students around the Claude T. Bissell Building (Faculty of Information). We will be teaming up with both staff and faculty. Bring a small goodie bag and feel free to swing by and knock on doors for some delicious treats!

Note: we will post a list of rooms to visit on MISC’s Facebook page Thursday night!

Haunted Tour of UofT: 6:30-8:00 PM

Join MISC on a Haunted Tour of the University of Toronto campus, for all Faculty of Information students! The tour is brought to you by Muddy York Walking Tours & The Haunted Walk.

We will meet in the main foyer of the Bissell Building between 5:45 and 6:00, leaving shortly afterwards. If you are meeting us there, the tour begins on the east side of the Royal Ontario Museum (100 Queen’s Park Cres.). It will begin promptly at 6:30 PM and end around 8:00 PM!

Please register by October 18th, 11:59 PM. See the Eventbrite link to find more information! You can bring a friend outside the faculty; just be sure you get them a ticket! There are 30 tickets available, at $5 each!

NOTE: Come to the tour in your costume, as we will head to the Duke of York pub right after!!

Halloween Pub Night, 6:30 PM onward

Flaunt your awesome Halloween costume, grab some drinks, and chat with friends at the Duke of York. This time around, we will be in the craft beer lounge: BrewHaHa (basement of the pub). There will be a grand prize (TBA…but drink-related) for the best costume and smaller prizes for various other award titles!

We hope to see you there!
