Marta Cooper Burt came to the iSchool after a career in publishing and arts administration. As a mature student with family responsibilities living in a rural area and commuting to campus, Burt brings an uncommon perspective to MISC and the Mental Health Working Group. She enjoys children, gardening, music, and poetry.
Robyn Forman ()
Robyn is a third year MI candidate (part-time student, full-time human), co-chair of Mental Health Working Group, concentrating in User Experience Design with courses taken in Critical Information Policy Studies. Robyn completed an MA in Philosophy at UofT (2014), and BA in Political Science and Philosophy at UTSC (2012). Research interests include social ontology and communication in the 21st century; the nature of shared agency, ethical and epistemological norms of communication, and dynamics of online social contexts focused on community development and knowledge-sharing. Robyn works at the Media Commons in Robarts Library and is president of FiLM CLuB over here (iSchool’s oNLy and BeST Film Club!)
